Agro Shade Net

Agro Shade Net is a knitted HDPE shade cloth engineered for controlled-environment agriculture — reducing solar intensity, lowering greenhouse temperatures and protecting crops from hail, wind and bird damage. Unlike woven shade fabrics, knitted construction gives superior tear resistance: if the net is punctured, the damage does not propagate along the weave.

Available in three shade factors — 50%, 75% and 90% — the net lets growers match light levels precisely to crop requirements. Fifty-percent shade suits light-loving vegetables and general nursery hardening; 75% is the industry standard for floriculture, ornamental nurseries and most protected cultivation; 90% provides maximum protection for shade-loving plants, ferns, tissue-culture hardening and summer stress relief.

Extruded from 100% virgin HDPE with UV master-batch at the polymer stage, the net maintains its shade factor and tensile strength through years of continuous outdoor exposure. The green-on-green and green-on-black colour combinations reduce heat build-up compared to dark-only nets, keeping the microclimate beneath the shade cooler and more crop-friendly.

Standard widths of 3.0 m, 5.3 m and 6.0 m in 50 m rolls cover most greenhouse spans and shade-house structures without excessive seaming. The net is fixed to GI pipe or bamboo frameworks with shade-net clips, wire or cable ties, and can be installed flat, peaked or as sidewall cladding depending on the structure design.

Applications span commercial plant nurseries, floriculture and ornamental production, vegetable cultivation under shade, tissue-culture hardening houses, terrace and rooftop farming, poultry house ventilation screens, car parking shade, and hail protection when installed as a overhead canopy.
